I had some minutes to spare this weekend and continued the work on the new transfer library. I have the basics on place now and can connect, list directories and do basic file operations. I still have some work to do on parsing the FTP replies and clean up some threading code.

I have decided to dump the transfer library and start almost from scratch again with the underlying transfer library. This will delay things a bit, but it just has to be done. The initial FTP library was a somewhat modified version of a dead(?) sourceforge project, and it was really ok, but it’s design conflicted with my ideas about how things has to be. So, I’ve decided to start from the beginning writing a new one, influenced by the many exellent libs out there.

This site is now online, but not much of interest here at the moment. The svn repository will be online soon, and the goal is to have a first version ready for download some day before this summer.
